About the Workshop

Re-Storying Education focuses on integrating Indigenous narratives and perspectives into the curriculum of our current education system.

By honoring Indigenous knowledge and practices, Carolyn seeks to inspire a more inclusive and culturally relevant curriculum. She advocates for methods of teaching and learning that dismantle old narratives and engage with new narratives using story, truth-telling, and a critical lens. This workshop will empower all educators and learners to foster deeper connections to the land, its people, and the true shared history of this place now known as Canada today.
