Indigenous Alumni
Western Alumni, in partnership with the Office of Indigenous Initiatives, is pleased to announce the launch of the Indigenous Alumni Chapter (IAC). The IAC aims to create a network for Indigenous alumni and current students to achieve greater success through stronger connections with one another and with the broader Western community.
This group strives to build upon the evolving history and values of Western University, which fosters lifelong involvement of alumni. IAC is committed to adding value to the lives of all alumni by engaging the community of graduates and celebrating alumni success throughout Turtle Island. It will also help nurture an Indigenizing and decolonizing environment by advising the University and the Alumni Association’s board of directors on Indigenous alumni engagement issues and opportunities.
