Anniversary Week at the Wampum

As we mark the second anniversary of the Wampum Learning Lodge, we reflect on the incredible journey we’ve shared together. Since opening our doors, this space has blossomed into a hub of creativity, learning, and relationship building.

Over the past two years, we’ve hosted countless workshops, courses, and events that have brought our community together in harmony. From courses founded on Indigenous ways of knowing, cultural wellness workshops and community-led programming, every activity has fostered growth and connection among Western and local community members sharing a common interest in advancing Indigenization, cultural reclamation and Reconciliation at Western.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated volunteers and community members whose passion and commitment have made this center a home away from home for so many people.

As we celebrate this milestone, we are excited for the future! We have more events, programs, and opportunities to strengthen our community bonds in our planning books. Together, let’s continue to make this center a place where everyone feels welcome and valued.

Join us for our anniversary celebrations from November 4 to November 8, and let’s make more wonderful memories together!
